Who we are
Our website address is: https://cityandhackneyneighbourhoods.org.uk.
Our purpose is to better understand the health & wellbeing needs of local communities and work alongside residents to improve local services and facilities. Neighbourhoods bring together community services (such as adult social care, adult community nursing, mental health and voluntary and community sector) and health professionals to work together as a team to deliver more coordinated support for residents.
We are comprised of:
- North East London Clinical Commissioning Group (NEL CCG)
- Healthwatch Hackney
- Healthwatch City of London
- Hackney Council (including the City & Hackney Public Health Team)
- City of London Authority
- Hackney Community & Voluntary Sector (HCVS)
- City & Hackney GP Confederation
- Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
How do we use your data?
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the Your ‘Get in Touch’ personal details (name, email, and comment for Neighbourhoods) will be forwarded to the relevant Neighbourhoods partner for response. This could be the Central Neighbourhood Team (who sit in NEL Clinical Commissioning Group), the HCVS (Hackney Community and Voluntary Sector) or Healthwatch (Hackney or the City of London depending on where you live.
We will only use your personal details as you have consented for us to do so e.g. to subscribe you to our newsletter or to get in contact with you in response to a query you have made.

How long we retain your data
If you leave your personal details on our ‘Get in Touch’ page we will retain your data only for so long as you are engaging with the Neighbourhoods Programme and we require your contact details to get hold of you. If you subscribe to our newsletter we will retain your contact details for a year and send you an annual renewal email requesting confirmation that you would still like to receive our newsletter.
What rights you have over your data
If you have left feedback or personal details on the site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we correct or erase any personal data we hold about you.
