Why it matters
Young people have been a centre of this work, from researching and collating the views of other young people, to recruitment of the project team, to the design of the pilot itself. Through this co-production, young people have told us that they struggle to navigate health and wellbeing services, so by focusing on early intervention and providing support in safe and trustworthy spaces, this project aims to empower young people and improve their overall wellbeing – alongside improving communication between professionals and services by establishing a wider network of youth health and wellbeing services.
